Putting in words one of my runs is a wish from a long time. Which run is a dilemma but finally decided to put my Strong Marathon in writing.

I did my first marathon on Dec 19th 2021. I completed in 3:58:40. I didn't even dream of that timing, but was tired and couldn't get up for more than 30 minutes post run.  Post Marathon had an injury and it took me 6 months for recovery. On the day of my first Marathon, at the finish line I had a wish, to do a strong Marathon.

I gave a try  for a strong marathon again on Aug 28th 2022. Quit the race at 28KM due to Spasms. So the next marathon at Hyderabad is the next target. 

Almost a 2 year Wish and how I got there is what this article is about. 
                 The journey for a Strong Marathon. 


After quitting my Marathon the urge to do a strong Marathon increased 10 folds and I thought I need to train better. I was already doing my strength training with Siva Swaroop and Sketchers and obviously he was the choice.

Started with Siva in Dec 2022. He introduced me to some good Run plans and i slowly started following them. Some good runs I could do with him were

  •    Club Run 2023 HM - 1:40:09 
  •     Hitex 10KM - 45:45
  •     Kanha Run - Pacer - 2:45
